Messaging Policy
Messaging policies control how many messages your bots and agents can send per channel, when they can send them, and how campaigns are managed.
Channel Settings
Three channels are configurable: SMS, WhatsApp, and Email. Each can be independently enabled or disabled.
Per-Channel Configuration
When a channel is enabled, configure:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Hourly Limit | Maximum messages per hour (0 = unlimited) |
| Daily Limit | Maximum messages per day (0 = unlimited) |
| Quiet Hours Start | Time after which messages are held (e.g., 21:00) |
| Quiet Hours End | Time after which messages resume (e.g., 08:00) |
| Quiet Hours Timezone | Timezone for quiet hours evaluation |
Each channel also shows current usage stats:
- Hourly count vs hourly limit
- Daily count vs daily limit
TIP
Quiet hours prevent messages from being sent during off-hours. Messages queued during quiet hours are delivered when the window reopens.
