Monitoring Overview
OmniBots provides a comprehensive monitoring suite that gives you full visibility into what your bots are doing right now and how they have performed over time. From live conversation tracking to security anomaly detection, every aspect of your bot operations is observable and measurable.
What You Can Monitor

Real-Time vs Historical Data
OmniBots provides two modes of monitoring:
- Real-time -- The Conversations view and dashboard KPI cards update live. You can watch active conversations as messages flow, see currently connected users, and respond to security alerts as they fire.
- Historical -- Analytics dashboards, reports, and trend charts aggregate data over configurable time windows. Use date range filters to analyze performance across days, weeks, or months.
TIP
The monitoring dashboard refreshes automatically every 30 seconds. You can also click the refresh icon in the top-right corner to force an immediate update.
Dashboard Overview
When you navigate to Monitoring, you land on the overview dashboard. This page surfaces the most important metrics at a glance.
Key Metric Cards

| Active Conversations | Number of conversations happening right now across all bots |
| Resolution Rate | Percentage of conversations resolved by the bot without human escalation (last 24 hours) |
| Avg Response Time | Mean time between user message and bot reply across all active bots |
| Satisfaction Score | Average CSAT score from post-conversation surveys (last 7 days) |
| Escalation Rate | Percentage of conversations handed off to a live agent |
| Total Conversations Today | Cumulative conversation count since midnight in your workspace timezone |
Activity Charts
Below the metric cards, the dashboard displays:
- Conversation volume -- A time-series chart showing conversations started per hour over the selected period.
- Bot performance comparison -- A bar chart comparing containment rate, average duration, and satisfaction across your bots.
- Channel distribution -- A donut chart breaking down conversations by channel (web, SMS, WhatsApp, voice).

WARNING
Monitoring data is subject to your workspace's data retention policy. Once the retention window expires, historical data is permanently deleted. Check Settings > Workspace > Data Retention to verify your current configuration.
